According to the harbormaster, the mooring is now located at 41 11.337N, 71 34.898W. Number is #166, and is a BLUE mooring ball. All the moorings that are not TOWN moorings will be blue. Harbormaster can be reached on VHF 12.
Actual GPS reading while on the mooring (8/11/06) were 41 11.325N, 71 34.911W.

Mooring Policy

Purpose: To allow for the greatest possible number of member yachts access to and use of Club Mooring #280. This mooring is marked "CCNE", and is located approximately at 41 11.358N, 71 34.884W.

Policy: Member's dues must be paid in full for the current year. Pursuant to Harbormaster's regulations, Club Burgee must be flown. Because of weight and scope of mooring, no more than three (3) yachts may be rafted overnight. In blows of 25 knots or more, only one (1) yacht may remain and then only subject to dictates of the harbormaster. The mooring shall not be made available to non-members who charter members' yachts. Member yachts, or yachts under charter to member(s), shall be entitled use of the mooring as follows:

The maximum number of days allowed for mooring use during a boating season is six (6).

The mooring cannot be used by the same boat on two consecutive weekends.
The weekends immediately before and after the cruise are reserved for members yachts who have signed up for the annual cruise. One must participate a minimum for four (4) days of the cruise to use the mooring on the weekend before or after the cruise.

Weekdays: Monday to Thursday - No restriction to number of nights allowed.

Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - No restriction to number of nights allowed, unless a member yacht arrives by sunset and indicates their intention to use said mooring the following day. First yacht on mooring is first yacht off.

Holidays: Weekend policy applies.

Reservations: No reservations can be made for use of the mooring. First come is first served.

Unattended boat: No boat may be left unattended overnight on the mooring.

Time Period: This policy covers the period of the last weekend in June through Labor Day.

Courtesy: Arriving yachts intending to use Club mooring should hail moored yachts of their intention to use said mooring the following day. Moored yachts having to give way shall abandon mooring by 11:00 am.

For your own protection please leave fenders out at all times.

Request: In order to evaluate the mooring use and policy compliance, it is requested that all members who use the mooring or try to use the mooring, to report to the Commodore confidentially as to who was on the mooring with them or who was on the mooring when they tried to use it.

Penalties for not adhering to rules: First infraction, the privilege of mooring use is suspended for two years (2). Second infraction will result in loss of membership in the club.

Complaints: If anyone has a complaint about mooring use, they must put it in writing to the Commodore.
